Christopher McGean
A native of Washington D.C., Christopher McGean began his career selling hand crafted pieces at the D.C. Historic Eastern Market. Inspired by trips to New Hampshire and Vermont, he began to make furnishings that reflected Yankee designs of yesteryear. Through moves to Maui and Napa Valley, he continued his trade before settling in Phoenix in 1999. There he began an apprenticeship with an old world master furniture maker from Poland. Upon completing his apprenticeship, Christopher began mixing Yankee designs with that of the Old West while using European skills and techniques to produce orginal high-end furnishings. His designs represent the utmost in quality and will stand the test of time. Chris lives in central Phoenix with his Bassett Hound assistant, Mac.
